At Once Upon a Ballet, your child is the star of our show. Each week is a new and exciting ballet story adventure, where your dancer can explore their imagination and become the characters of their dreams.
Parent & Child Class for 2 year olds: This class is a delightful introduction to ballet that parent & child can share together. Creativity blossoms in this 45 minute class, while exploring new fairytale stories in costume! Age appropriate exercises develop motor skills and encourage your toddler.
Creative Ballet for 2½ to 5½ year olds: This imaginative class of creative ballet combines classic fairy tale dances, acting, music and fine costumes. Dancers will explore fundamental ballet terminology and movement in a fun and enriching environment. This 45 minute class includes a new ballet story each week where your little one can become the character of their dreams!
Ballet Division for ages 5 and Up: A young dancer's introduction to the
exquisite world of ballet! Based on the Royal Academy of Dance technique, our Primary Program provides a sound classical structure while offering students a chance to study all of the treasured ballets: ie. Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and the Nutcracker. Our syllabus and "mini showings" develop poise, grace and self-confidence. Audition for the Performance Troupe and be a part of the magic with local performances throughout the year!
Musical Theater Division for ages 5 and Up: Musical Theater combines Broadway style dance, acting and singing! Rehearse and perform musical theater numbers throughout the year in costume. These classes promote stage presence, teamwork, and self-confidence. Fine tune dance skills with high energy Jazz technique. Incorporate complex rhythm and movement with our exciting new Tap classes. Audition for Performance Troupe and join us around town for stage stopping fun!
